2.3 Analytics Cookies (Optional)

We may use analytics cookies to understand how visitors use our website and improve the platform. These are only set if you select "Accept All" in the cookie banner.

We do not currently use third-party analytics services (e.g. Google Analytics). If this changes, we will update this policy and re-request consent.

2.4 Marketing Cookies (Optional — opt-in only)

With your explicit consent, we set the LinkedIn Insight Tag on our public website pages (for example the homepage, blog and campaign landing pages). It helps us measure the performance of our LinkedIn advertising and show relevant ads to people with similar professional profiles. LinkedIn may set cookies and receive your IP address and the pages you visited on our public site.

Marketing cookies are never loaded inside the YARDtwin application (/app), never for signed-in users, and never without your opt-in via the cookie banner. You can withdraw consent at any time (see Section 4); withdrawal stops the tag from loading on your next visit.

Cookie banner: When you first visit YARDtwin, a banner appears at the bottom of the page. Choose "Essential Only" or "Accept All".
Browser settings: Most browsers allow you to block or delete cookies. Note that blocking essential cookies will prevent you from logging in.
Reset consent: Clear your browser's localStorage for yardtwin.com to reset your cookie preference and see the banner again.

5. Data Storage

YARDtwin primarily uses browser localStorage rather than traditional cookies for session management. LocalStorage data:

Is not sent to the server with every request (unlike cookies)
Remains on your device until you manually clear it or log out
Is not accessible by third-party websites
Is encrypted in transit when communicating with the YARDtwin API

6. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. If we add new cookie categories or third-party services, we will re-request your consent via the cookie banner.
